Grey's Anatomy

I recently started watching this show on Netflix because I had never seen it before and wanted to start from the beginning. I'm only about five episodes in to the first season, so I guess it's kind of hard for me to give my full opinion, but so far I'm loving it.

The first episode starts out with Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) waking up at her house next to some guy she had a one night stand with. She kicks him out, and rushes off to work for her first day at her new job at Seattle Grace Hospital, where we find out she's not just Meredith Grey, she's Dr. Meredith Grey. Partly through the episode, she discovers that the man she had a one night stand with is her boss, Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey).

The show is essentially about the lives of the interns of Seattle Grace hospital, with most of the emphasis on Meredith and Derek love life.

I realize that most guys would just write this show off as another doctor show (which I guess it is), but I love it. Pretty much every episode makes me cry, which I guess is kind of a good thing, if that's what the writers/producers were going for. I think that the casting is great, and the writers have just the right dynamics between the characters.

If you've never watched Grey's Anatomy, and you have Netflix, I suggest you start watching it. If you don't have Netflix, go get the DVDs. It's worth it.

  1. I told you this already, but I can't stand this show. What makes it watchable for you. My fiance loves it too. The fact that every male doctor is a heart-throb could explain why women love it. I prefer Scrubs.
